The Democratic Front: NO to US aggression against Syria!

• NO to covering aggression by foreign, regional and Arab countries!

• The State of Israel is the one poised to benefit most from aggression and from US political and military solutions

The official spokesperson of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine declared as follows: No to US aggression against Syria!, no to covering aggression by foreign, regional and Arab countries!

Our people and all the Arab peoples are aware of the fact that the occupying State of Israel is poised to benefit most from any aggression against any Arab country.

The US invasion destroyed Iraq and its army and led to an internal war that is already 10 years old and causes hundreds of deaths and wounded every day. The invasion of Lybia by NATO devastated that country and its army and led it to internal destruction, to unstopping deaths and murders since 2012.

Military and political solutions and US interventions produced disasters in Arab countries and led to a further unbalance in the correlation of forces in the Middle East in favor of Israel, that occupies the Palestinian territory, the Golan Heights and the Chebaa Farms and pursues the judaization of Jerusalem, the colonialist expansion in the West Bank and the blockade against Gaza.

The political solution to the Syrian crisis is the rapid convening of the Geneva Conference II and the national dialogue among all the components of Syrian society is the path to the solution of the crisis and the construction of an Arab, united, independent and democratic Syria.

We call on the Arab peoples and countries as well as freedom-, democracy- and peace-loving and law-abiding States to reject and condemn all types of military and political aggression against Syria, and to uphold the Syrian people’s right to decide its destinies by its own choice and its general national dialogue.
