The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the cold-bloodedmurderin the occupied territories of one of their cadre, Ahmad M. Musulmani. He was killed at the Zionist military checkpoint of the city of Tubas on the West Bank while he was on his way to work.
The statement affirmed that the martyr was a member of the Union of Young Democratic Palestinians and had been enrolled in the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Nablus until 2008, when he was forced to interrupt his studies to work to support his family.
The Democratic Front calls on international organizations and human rights groups to open an urgent investigation into this hateful crime committed by the occupiers with this new year having barely begun.
The DFLP reported that young Musulmani represented no danger and was only trying to cross through the electronically operated gatecontrolled by Zionist soldiers. This crime was said to be a demonstration of the level of Israeli scorn for the lives of Palestinians – a phenomenon sowed and fed for decades by discrimination, repression and bloodshed with complete disregard for law or ethics.
The declaration promises to continue the path of the struggle until the winning of freedom and the independence with total sovereignty – without settlements and with Jerusalem as the capital.
