Dear members and friends of the Organization of Solidarity with the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America (OSPAAAL)

We extend to you, above all, internationalist greetings from the Palestinian people and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and all our support to the Cuban people in their campaign of “Five Days for the Cuban 5.”

We are accompanying you on the panel “Obama, Give Me Five!” and unite our voices in demanding “Stop the blockade against Cuba!”

We call for the immediate release of the Cuban 5, as well as the easing of travel restrictions on U.S. citizens who want to come to Cuba, the removal of Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, and the immediate evacuation and return of the Guantanamo naval base to Cuba!

Lifting the blockade is a human, Cuban, American and international necessity.

The resistance of Cuba throughout these long years is a lesson for the peoples of the world in their struggles against injustice and imperialistic U.S. hegemony.
